An Immersive Experience in Understanding Poverty 

Step into the shoes of individuals facing financial hardship in this interactive, eye-opening simulation. Designed to deepen understanding of the complex realities of poverty, this experience fosters empathy, sparks meaningful discussion, and inspires advocacy. 

What to Expect: Participants take on different financial roles and navigate real-life challenges related to housing, employment, healthcare, and more. Through 20–30 minute rounds simulating several weeks in poverty, and engaging with volunteers at service stations, participants experience the pressure of tough decisions and limited resources. The session concludes with a guided group discussion to reflect on insights and next steps.
