About the event

Kimberly Cavalier, Family Wellbeing Specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach, will be guiding us through how we can build resilience in our personal and professional lives. We will learn and discuss how:

- Physical Activity,

- Getting a Good Night’s Sleep,

- Social Connectedness,

- Volunteering and Purpose,

- Embracing Positive Attitude

- Relaxation Techniques

All work together and can help us deal with compassion fatigue, burnout and other concerns that impact our resilience and wellbeing.

Join us as we work on developing real ideas and techniques to help build your resilience and self-care.

Nurturing Resiliency in Ourselves and Others is a program designed by Dr. David Brown, ISU Extension and Outreach State Behavioral Health Specialist.

Due to grant funding this course will be offered free of charge.

Professionals who believe that this programming meets the requirements of their professional licensure board may present their certificate to their professional board. All those attending in full will receive a certificate of attendance and agenda for the day that includes the course title, trainer names, date, location, and number of hours. It is the responsibility of the individual attending to be familiar with the CEU requirements of their professional licensing board. Licensees should retain course materials and certificates for four years for auditing purposes.
